Alright, so you'll have to know that I, Sammy; The Founder of Uma Nomad, have worn this dress, in many different fabrics, for many years. It's my most favourite dress in the world, and it took a little bit of persuasion for me to share it with all of the everyone.  - You may call me petty, but sometimes I like to have something just for myself for a little while. 

So here it is, dress 'Cesur', with the word bravery in the language of my best friend as its name. With my wish for this dress to make you feel as brave and beautiful as I do wearing it.

This is a long dress with a high neck and gorgeous open back. We made it with drawstrings, with which you can pull up the back of the dress for length adjustment. Because of this women of all heights can wear this beauty. - we are really proud of coming up with this nifty solution. 

As is the case with all of our clothing, this piece is made from recycled vintage fabrics. 

We spend a lot of time and thought into making them so they fit bodies in all shapes and sizes. We're pretty proud on our designs, and we hope you'll love wearing them.

We try to post a brand new collection of clothing in unique colours and designs on our website every day.

Materials: 

Viscose or Rayon

Because this garment is made from recycled vintage and second hand fabrics that we collect ourselves from all over the world, it's really hard to decide the exact composition of every fabric we repurpose. We hope you can forgive us for this.  Having said that, most of the fabrics we use are either Viscose or Rayon.
We only select the most beautiful and comfortable feeling materials. - After all these years we've gotten really good at this!

This sweet little jacket, has a way of making you look cute yet classy while you're in the midst of your grocery and other-kinds-of errands run. Even when you just dropped one of your bags, your hair is messy and your upper lip sweaty!

We really love how this item brings a sense of sophistication to any look, while keeping it relaxed at the same time. 

On the one side you find the colourful vintage saree, which is our favourite material to repurpose - because they’re so beautiful - and we’ve lined them with another repurposed fabric on the inside. These are fabrics that we've found during our adventures salvaging forgotten materials: old curtains, rejected bedsheets, or this cool waste material we collect from blockprinting ateliers.

All this cool stuff that, with a bit of effort and love, can be turned into the coolest jacket. And so, can go on to live a whole new life.

This means you and your mini-me can now wear your favourite Uma Nomad together on your epic adventures. 

'Ukiyo' is a cool long jacket and can be turned into a dress in a heartbeat, while still allowing for the essential tree-climbing and horseback-riding.

This is a real dress.

A special little piece, sure to make your special little one shine like the sun.

We made her as real as we could: a dress that a actual princess would wear, if she was a cool kind of princess. One who goes on epic adventures saving helpless creatures, one who climbs the highest tree in the blink of an eye while singing the alphabet backwards, for example. 

A cool princess.. Or prince! Because during her travels around the world, this Mamma has met loads of cool princes who love to wear dresses. 

This dress best fits children between the age of 1.5 and 3 years, for a 1.5 year old the dress will reach all the way to the floor, and with an older child the dress will lift higher off the floor. 

It's best to measure your little one to make sure the size is right:

This mega cute toddler dress is perfect for long slender girls, or boys! - because boys who like dresses are also cool. Mamma knows; she has seen many very cool boys wearing dresses on her journey around the world. 

This beautiful model is super elegant, and perfect for those fancy type of adventures. Where you will have to persuade a French crocodile to help you cross a river, or where a knight asks you for a favor.

It is, though, not the perfect dress for horseback-riding.
We have different attire for those kind of quests. 

These dresses are of course also created with love, and with the future of our little ones in mind. Made from recycled fabrics, these dresses are one-of-a-kind.
