Our incredibly popular Kaftan 'Rahma' is one of our most comfortable pieces, and able to be worn in just about any size. We love to combine her with a belt, but also without belt this piece looks and feels absolutely gorgeous.

We spend a lot of time and thought into making them so they fit bodies in as many shapes and sizes as possible. We're really quite proud of our designs, and we hope you'll love wearing them.

Repurposing and upcycling old fabrics is an eco-friendly move, as new fabrics don’t have to be manufactured and by reusing these beautiful discarded materials they don’t end up in landfill. "Ailyak is a Bulgarian word meaning: the art of doing everything slowly with no rush, while enjoying the process and life in general; much like the Swahili 'hakuna matata'.

For us, this dress resembles the feeling of a breezy sunny day, the air filled with salsa tunes and the laughter of the people that you love. This dress truly lifts you off your feet with joyful feelings the moment you put it on! 

This is a long maxi dress with a triangle top and gorgeous open back. We made it with a set of 3 drawstrings, with which you can adjust the length, chest and waist measurements. Because of this women of all shapes and sizes can wear this beauty. 

Like all our clothing this dress too rocks a whole beautiful lot of recycled vintage fabrics which makes this piece unique and perfect to dance and swirl around in.

Every week on Thursday and Friday we post a brand new collection of clothing in unique colours and designs on our website. 

Materials: 

Because this garment is made from recycled vintage and second hand fabrics that we collect ourselves from all over the world, it's really hard to decide the exact composition of every fabric we repurpose. We hope you can forgive us for this.  

Having said that, most of the fabrics we use are either Viscose or Rayon.
We only select the most beautiful and comfortable feeling materials. - After all these years we've gotten really good at this!

"Isa  means reversible in Javanese, a suitable name, we thought, because this jacket is reversible! :)

We proudly present you the first items of our autumn collection. How exciting!

An epic reversible jacket made from materials without purpose; beautiful forgotten fabrics that we have found and transformed to unique wearable pieces of art like this one right here. On one side we have used an vintage Indian Saree, and the other side could be anything from curtains to quilts, or this cool cotton that we found that had been used as an underlayment for handblockprinting - so cool, what a find - and basically any other fantastic reusable material we could find to repurpose. If you’re curious about what a fabric once was, please drop us a message. We’re passionate about this stuff, and would love to talk about it with you!

Making this collection has been a great adventure, in which we believe we have done a great job at making a gorgeous jacket, or wait, two gorgeous jackets, to keep you warm on mellow autumn and spring days. 

Our jacket ‘Isa’ comes in 2 sizes and 2 lengths, rocks a fantastic huge hood, has a wide beautiful belt and pockets on both sides: inside and out. 

Size: small/medium (32-36) - if you like to wear this jacket oversized we would suggest going for an Isa in medium/large.
