Alright, so you'll have to know that I, Sammy; The Founder of Uma Nomad, have worn this dress, in many different fabrics, for many years. It's my most favourite dress in the world, and it took a little bit of persuasion for me to share it with all of the everyone.  - You may call me petty, but sometimes I like to have something just for myself for a little while. 

So here it is, dress 'Cesur', with the word bravery in the language of my best friend as its name. With my wish for this dress to make you feel as brave and beautiful as I do wearing it.

This is a long dress with a high neck and gorgeous open back. We made it with drawstrings, with which you can pull up the back of the dress for length adjustment. Because of this women of all heights can wear this beauty. - we are really proud of coming up with this nifty solution. 

As is the case with all of our clothing, this piece is made from recycled vintage fabrics.

Uma Nomad is a sustainable fashion brand, we make our clothing only from vintage and second-hand fabrics. Because we can only make 1 piece out of every fabric we repurpose, all our clothing is truly unique in colour and print.

Every Week a New Collection of Unique Pieces: 

Every week on Thursday and Friday we post a brand new collection of clothing in unique colours and designs on our website. 

Materials: 

Because this garment is made from recycled vintage and second hand fabrics that we collect ourselves from all over the world, it's really hard to decide the exact composition of every fabric we repurpose. We hope you can forgive us for this.  Having said that, most of the fabrics we use are either Viscose or Rayon.
We only select the most beautiful and comfortable feeling materials. - After all these years we've gotten really good at this!

Many of you have asked us to make another pair of trousers, and we think we have delivered on that one. This might just be our best trouser design yet, with epic sleeves which flow so gracefully and a wide comfortable belt, with this beautiful ‘V’ shape which hugs the belly so well. 

We hope you love this design, as we do. 

And as always, these wide sleeved pants are made from repurposed fabrics, and because we can only make one piece out of every piece of fabric we recycle, every piece is truly unique.

Note: because we make all our clothing from recycled fabrics, every piece is truly unique. If this piece finds a home, we cannot make another one unfortunately. "Isa  means reversible in Javanese, a suitable name, we thought, because this jacket is reversible! :)

We proudly present you the first items of our autumn collection. How exciting!

An epic reversible jacket made from materials without purpose; beautiful forgotten fabrics that we have found and transformed to unique wearable pieces of art like this one right here. On one side we have used an vintage Indian Saree, and the other side could be anything from curtains to quilts, or this cool cotton that we found that had been used as an underlayment for handblockprinting - so cool, what a find - and basically any other fantastic reusable material we could find to repurpose. Making this collection has been a great adventure, in which we believe we have done a great job at making a gorgeous jacket, or wait, two gorgeous jackets, to keep you warm on mellow autumn and spring days. 

Our jacket ‘Isa’ comes in 2 sizes and 2 lengths, rocks a fantastic huge hood, has a wide beautiful belt and pockets on both sides: inside and out. 

Size: small/medium (32-36) - if you like to wear this jacket oversized we would suggest going for an Isa in medium/large.
